Experience Jesus, Really #3
Refuge in the ways of Jesus
Psalm 18:1-2
1 I love you, Lord; you are my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.

1. We must take Refuge in Love
1 John 4:15-17 All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. 16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. 17 And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
2. We must take Refuge in Truth
John 8:31-32 Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
3. We must take Refuge in Forgiveness
Matthew 6:14-15. “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. 15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Luke 23:34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”
4. We must take Refuge with a Worshipful Heart
Hebrews 12:28-13:1 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. 29 For our God is a devouring fire.
13:1 Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters
