The Battle of Spiritual Warfare in your Marriage
John 10:10 (NLT) The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Jeremiah 33:3 (NLT) Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.

You can lift each other up when one feels weak (Ecclesiastes 4:10).
The Lord is upon you when the two of you pray together (Matthew 18:20).

Remember these scriptures to gain hope and trust in why God created you to become one with your spouse:

•Proverbs 31:10-11 (NLT) Who can find a virtuous and capable wife She is more precious than rubies.11 Her husband can trust her and she will greatly enrich his life.

•1 Peter 3:7  (NLT) In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.

•Ephesians 5:31 (NLT) As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.”

•Proverbs 18:22  (NLT)The man who finds a wife finds a treasure and he receives favor from the Lord.

•Proverbs 19:14 (NLT)Fathers can give their sons an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the Lord can give an understanding wife.

By consistently reading your word, speaking scripture over your life and the life of your marriage, you can restore, deliver, and even prevent what the enemy wants to steal from you. I encourage you to be proactive with the word of God for your marriage and for the well being of your spouses spiritual walk.
